TRAVEL LEAGUE SCHEDULE AND RULES 2023-24

2/25/24 HIGHLIGHTS -- ROSE GARDEN BOWL CLAIMS CROWN

The Rose Garden Bowl team of Blake Young, Lucas Rolfe and Evan Phillips are champions of the 2024 Genesee Region Youth Travel League.

The trio capped their fine season with a 30-10 win over Perry I on Sunday at Perry Bowling Center. All three bowled over their averages, with Phillips leading the way with a 479 series.

Le Roy finished in second place followed by Perry I and Perry II.

Individual season leaders are as follows:

High scratch game, boys, Ben Sputore, Mancuso's, 247.
High scratch game, girls, Shyann Covell, Perry, 193.
High scratch series, boys, Sputore, 664.
High scratch series, girls, Covell, 526.
High handicap game, boys, Liam Beagle, Le Roy, 294.

The league's no-tap tournament and awards banquet are scheduled for 12:30 p.m. March 24 at Oak Orchard Bowl in Albion. For reservations, send an email to mikep@bowlgr.com by March 9. Cost is $10 for youth bowlers (bowling and food) and $12 for adults (food).
